The Trail Starts Here!
Every year the Biomedical Library sponsors a Library Information Fair for incoming Perelman School of Medicine students. The theme for this year’s event, organized by Medical Education Librarian, Frank Campbell, and held on August 6th at the Jordan Medical Education Center, was the National Parks.
Nearly all 160 incoming students participated and were given a ‘passport’ to visit eight Parks to learn about our wide array of online resources as well as services such as Consultations, Mobile Apps, and 3D and poster printing. Students picked up giveaways & handouts along the way.
At our final stop, “The End of the Trail”, students entered a drawing to win prizes such as a Fitbit, Kindle Fire, EndNote software and a $50 gift card.
