Dynamed Plus integrated with med students’ curricular resources.

Dynamed Plus, an evidence-based medicine resource purchased by the Biomedical Library, can be used as a point-of-care or educational tool providing clinically organized summaries for thousands of medical topics. DynaMed Plus editors monitor the content of more than 500 medical journals on a daily basis. Each article is evaluated for clinical relevance and scientific validity. The new evidence is then integrated with existing content, and overall conclusions are changed as appropriate, representing a synthesis of the best available evidence.

We are pleased to announce that Dynamed Plus just got easier for PSOM med students to use in that it is integrated into their curriculum management system through a federated search engine, “iSeek.” The targeted iSeek search engine collects, unifies, and organizes educational content across multiple platforms. Using a single search box, students can retrieve PSOM Course Material, PubMed citations, Dynamed Plus entries, and many other pertinent resources.

DynaMed Plus can also be accessed directly by all current Penn Faculty/Staff/Students as a stand-alone resource, from your desktop or mobile device:
