Are you interested in learning about how the h-index and the journal impact factor are calculated, and how to use tools that calculate these metrics for you? This workshop will help you do that!

The workshop will include:

• a close look at both Web of Science and Scopus, comparing their similarities and differences
• hands-on searching for a scholar’s h-index and a journal’s impact factor
• how to use these tools to identify potential research collaborators
