AccessMedicine and AccessAnesthesiology are online resources that provide students with the tools they need to excel in basic and advanced studies, clerkships, and crucial test prep. Both products also provide residents, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and even experienced practicing physicians and anesthesiologists with interactive content, self-assessment, and leading medical texts to enhance decision-making at the point-of-care. Both information portals include a complete full-text library of clinical and basic science textbooks, including Harrison’s Principles of Internal Medicine (edited, of course, by Penn Medicine Dean, Dr. Larry Jameson), Current Medical Diagnosis & Treatment, The Color Atlas of Family Medicine, Longnecker’s Anesthesiology, Morgan & Mikhail’s Clinical Anesthesiology, and many others.
Additionally, both products have integrated drug information, differential diagnoses, video and multimedia content, practice guidelines, test questions and study tools. There is also a medical English-Spanish dictionary and customizable patient information. Creating a “MyAccess” account gives users the ability to download the app to access certain material when offline or remote, tag interesting content, and download images for powerpoint presentations.

Both products are continually updated and new titles are added each year.
