A couple of weeks ago, I posted a call for walk leaders for Themed Wellness Walks, a university-wide initiative to encourage students, staff, and faculty to network, learn, and walk together on a historic, beautiful, and multidisciplinary campus, in which we work and/or study. Thank you to those of you who volunteered to lead walks and shared tips that helped identify prospective walk leaders!

All are welcome to participate in Themed Wellness Walks this next month. All of the following Themed Wellness Walks will start at the Ben Franklin statue in front of College Hall at 12pm.
Friday Oct 4th: Join me for the inaugural Themed Wellness Walk. In observation of Health Literacy Month, I will present about “Evaluating Health News.”
Friday Oct 11th: Participate in Penn Human Resources’s monthly wellness walk, one of the existing walking programs that inspired the “Themed Wellness Walks” initiative.
Monday Oct 14th: Learn about Campus Recreation via staff members Chloe Cole and Erica Hilldenbrant.
Monday Oct 21st: Learn about other wellness initiatives across campus from Dr. Benoit Dube, Chief Wellness Officer.
Wednesday Oct 30th: Learn about healthy food options on campus from Penn Dining’s Dan Connolly.
