Join us for the next event in the Biomedical Library’s Fall Biomeditations book talk series when we will hear PIK Professor Dr. George Demiris discuss his recent book, Behavioral Intervention Research in Hospice and Palliative Care: Building an Evidence Base.
This event will be held on Oct. 17th at 3.30PM in Fagin Hall room 218, to avoid any conflict with students studying for midterms at the Biomedical Library.
In this book, Dr. Demiris and his co-authors, Drs. Oliver and Washington, outline ways in which research into palliative and hospice care may have fallen behind methodologically when compared with other fields of medicine and nursing and how it can be improved, and provides an in-depth primer on intervention research.
